Learning to Scuba Dive is listed as one of the top ten things to do before you die!
If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course. Well this is for you, it allows the young of heart to experience the thrill of breathing underwater and exploring the underwater world accompanied by an instructor or certified assistant.
The DSD consists of two dives. The first in the pool the second out at sea.
In the dive centre our PADI instructors will help you understand the basic safety guidelines and skills you need to scuba dive, along an explanation and demonstration of how your scuba equipment works. Following this you will have your 1st of your dives in the heating swimming pool with your instructor. Here with your dive instructor you will have a chance to practice and master the basic scuba diving skills.
We are one of only a handful of dive centers in Tenerife that have their own swimming pool and it´s less than 5M from the front door of the dive centre.
Following pool time we travel to the harbour (3min drive) and a 5-10 min boat ride to one of several dive sites we use for the 2nd dive of this Discover Scuba Diving. You will be under water for around 30-40mins, to a maximum 12m.
You need to allow about 5-6 hours in total from start to finish.

Points to Remember
Please note that you do need to be able to swim to do this, you don't need to be an Olympic class swimmer, but you do need to be comfortable in the water.
What do you need to bring? Swimming costume and a towel, along with a change of clothes, and a smile we provide everything else.
Note: Try Dives are resource intensive and no booking is confirmed until receipt of deposit.
